The past 3 weeks I was in Kenya to conduct research for my masters and last week Charles, our project manager in Uganda, came to visit me in Nairobi. We recorded this message (his first ever video message) in which he explains why there is a need for irrigation at the school. We are now ready for our first step towards installing an irrigation system that will enable the school to serve lunch five days a week. Within the next month a team of surveyors will be on site at Bussi Primary School to conduct a water survey. This survey will show at which location around the school the borehole should be constructed depending on the availability of water.
Enjoy the video and let us know what you think! A big thank you to Dolly for donating her camera to Elsus Foundation. It has already been put in good use as you can see.
